I chose to accept his assignment:  Pretend you have only a film camera, take only 27 or 36 shots, turn off the picture review or put tape over it, and don’t look at the pictures for at least 24 hours.  Extra credit was given if you did no post processing in Lightroom or Photoshop.  Well, no extra credit here.  I did take with me a 256 mb card only and set my Nikon 70 to RAW + Jpeg so that kept me from going over the picture limit.  I figured out how to turn off the continuous mode, and turned the picture review off.  Oh yeah, another rule was to keep the ISO the same for all the shots like with film.  I used ISO 400.  I’m sorry to say I didn’t get any great shots, but I got some shots that captured the day we spent at Lake Cumberland, and sometimes, that’s enough.
